Tuesday is better than Monday
The week started out crappy with a Monday. If only we could get rid of it completely. First I get up Amelya for school and she’s scared to go into the downstairs bathroom because of a “scary noise” That noise was the water spraying from under our toilet, as well as our floor being flooded. This is the third time we have had some floor flooding this month. The other two times it was our dishwasher. We finally got a new one. So they came to fix our toilet, it was a hose. Then the red car wouldn’t start, Chris had to get a ride home from work. Luckily it seems to only be a battery issue from sitting with the radio on.
Tuesday was much better. Less rain, although the weather is still dreary this week. Amelya had Art Smarts after school and then we got the twins push trikes. They are a grow with the child bike where there are three different levels and eventually the parent push option can come off so the child can pedal alone.

For dinner we had spaghetti, afterwards we played the game Headbandz, the Disney Version. It’s really fun. Happy Tuesday! These grumpy twins need to get to bed.

Amelya was amazingly good at the game, She beat us!
It’s been a while..
I haven’t been on here for a while but after reading some blogs I was inspired to start blogging again myself. I wish I could keep up so that my kids could look back and read what daily life was like for me as a young mother of three. (Sorta young, ha! :)
What’s new with us? Well we have been in California for almost a year and we are loving it. We will soon be moving back to Hawaii and are excited but, as in every military move, it’s bittersweet. Amelya started school here and we have made some great friends that we will miss dearly. I will be thankful to return to somewhere I’ve actually been before. I am excited to have a huge house again. I can’t wait to see the twins be able to run all over the place & drag toys everywhere. I can’t wait to see my wonderful friends and hit up the beach.
I’ve also been getting back into working on my photography portfolio. I upgraded my camera/lenses and I contantly “study” techniques and tips on how to get better and to get inspiration for shoots. I hope by this time next year I can have a steady “job” of being a photographer. It was my new years resolution and I normally always make it happen.
I also have been making hair bows. It’s funny how whenever I start to get into something.. I have to do it all the way. Go big or go home. For example, My small obsession with Hello Kitty. ;) Here’s my first bow I’ve made.
What do you think? Not bad for my first one, right?
Amelya has been a busy bee. She just turned six. Gosh, seems like she was just born. She has been in Kindergarden for over 100 school days. She is a girlscout, a cheerleader, and recently a new member of a afterschool class called Art Smarts. She loves riding her scooter, playing with her friends, and anything girly. She is an amazing big sister and the center of attention.

Chris has been busy gaming, reading, and working. All of his favorite things to do, besides hanging with his girls. :)
The twins have been very busy growing, and learning new things. Their feet grew a full shoe size in a month’s time. They had just got new shoes, and then needed a new size about a month later. Although it makes me sad that they didn’t get to wear their leopard print shoes that much I don’t mind shopping for new ones. :) They are crazy girls that are full of spunk & they keep me on my feet. Actually they keep me running on my feet. Everywhere I go people say “I don’t know how you do it”. Well, I’m not sure either. All I know is that I couldn’t be luckier.

It appears Siri is not much of a photographer.
